Warm Up for Workouts and Stretching!!

Hi, everyone!! Happy Wednesday!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Here is a 5 minute full body warm up that you can do before stretching or workouts.

  • 10 jumping jacks
  • Reach forward and to the ground and then roll back up
  • Reach to the right side
  • Reach to the left side
  • 10 jumping jacks
  • 5 head circles each way
  • 5 forward right arm circles
  • 5 backward right arm circles
  • 5 forward left arm circles
  • 5 backward left arm circles
  • Runner’s lunge on right leg
  • Side lunge stretch on right leg
  • Backwards lunge stretch on right leg
  • Runner’s lunge on left leg
  • Side lunge on left leg
  • Backwards lunge stretch on left leg

Beginner Jazz Class Warm up!!

Hi, everyone!! It’s time to dance!! But before we begin, we need to warm up so nothing gets injured…๐Ÿ˜€

Here’s the music:

  • Let’s do 32 jumping jacks when the beat drops
  • Now we’re going to squat 2 times and stretch to both sides…We’ll repeat this 3 times getting faster each time…
  • High knees for 20 seconds
  • Stretch in a standing pike position for 20 seconds…bend your knees and slowly roll your body up.
  • Go to a high lunge and hold for 10 seconds
  • Switch to a side lunge and hold for 10 seconds
  • Repeat the high lunge on your other leg for 10 seconds.
  • Repeat the side lunge on your other leg for 10 seconds.
  • Roll your head 4 times to the right.
  • Roll your head 4 times to the left.
  • 4 shoulder rolls forward.
  • 4 shoulder rolls back.

Hi, everyone!! Happy Monday!! This week I’m going to be uploading a new workout every day. We’re going to be focusing on the arms, abs, obliques, hips and legs. Then I’ll post a full body workout!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Remember to stay on the beat. And let’s begin!!

  • When the beat drops we are going to start with 30 mountain climbers.
  • Then we are going to go down into a push up for 4 counts and back up for 4 counts (or beats). Repeat 4 times.
  • Hold a plank for 10 seconds.
  • Up and down plank 8 times.
  • 30 mountain climbers.
  • 8 count push ups (4 times).
  • 10 second plank
  • Up and down plank 8 times.

Quick Beginner Ballet Class!!

Hi, everyone!! Here are some combinations I made for a quick beginner ballet class!! Have fun!! The music is in order below the combinations.

  • Plie: 2 demi plies, releve, 2 grande plies in first, second, and fifth position. Fold forward in fifth and roll up. Hold releve. Repeat on other leg.
  • Tendu (slow): Ball, point, flex to the front, side, and back. Then reverse it, so back, side, and front. Balance on releve in first. Start in first position. Repeat on other leg.
  • Tendu: Tendu, pas de cheval twice, to the front, side, and back. Repeat on other leg.
  • Degage:3 degages a la seconde closing in first, the fourth one closes in fifth. Repeat 3 times. Repeat on other leg.
  • Rond de jambe a terre 8 times, developpe en avant, a la seconde, and derriere. Reverse the combo. Repeat on other leg.
  • Grand battement 4 times en avant, a la seconde, and derriere. Repeat on other leg.

Christmas Beginner Barre Ballet Class!!

Hi, everyone!! Happy 1st day of December!!

  • In first do 2 demi plies, releve, 1 grande plie, fold forward and roll up. In second do 1 grand plie, stretch into the bar and away from it, releve, and 2 demi plies. Go to fifth and do 2 demi plies, and 1 grande plie, stretch back, and hold releve. Repeat on other leg. The reason why this is a bit more complicated is to get your brain working.
